Job description
What will you do?
You are the first point of contact at the door of bars, clubs and hospitality venues across North Brabant. You make sure guests feel safe and welcome, keep an overview of what's happening, and step in calmly but firmly when needed. At B&O Security Group you work in a close-knit team, with a dedicated contact person and fair pay under the collective labour agreement.
Your main tasks
- Welcome guests and check access, including age and ID checks
- Enforce the venue's house rules and door policy
- Monitor the inside and surroundings of the venue and spot conflicts early
- De-escalate tense situations and act professionally when necessary
- Work together with venue staff, colleagues and, if needed, the police or emergency services
- Record incidents accurately in a report

A Competitive Salary

Holiday allowance and days off
8% holiday allowance and 24 holiday days per year based on full-time employment. As an on-call employee, your holiday hours are paid out as a supplement on your hourly wage.
Public holiday supplement
50% extra on Christmas Day, Boxing Day and King's Day, and 100% extra on New Year's Eve and New Year's Day.
Pension
You automatically build up a pension with the Industry Pension Fund for Private Security (BPF Particuliere Beveiliging).
Travel allowance
€ 0.23 net per kilometre when you travel with your own transport. In line with the collective labour agreement, the first 7 kilometres of each one-way trip are not reimbursed.
Work close to home
Shifts in North Brabant, with a dedicated contact person in planning.
Who you are
Is this role for you?
Required
- SVH Horecabeveiliger (hospitality security), Beveiliger 2
- Available evenings, nights and weekends
- Good command of the Dutch language
- Able to handle stress, assertive and customer-friendly
- At least 18 years old
- Driving licence B and own transport
Nice to have
- Experience as a door supervisor or event security officer
- Valid BHV (in-house emergency response) and/or first aid certificate
- Good spoken English
