A security guard can often start sooner than you think. For an urgent request, for example after a break-in or unexpected crowds, a guard can often be deployed within 24 to 48 hours. For a permanent assignment or an event we prefer a few weeks, so everything is properly prepared.
What decides the start date
- The type of assignment: a patrol service is arranged faster than a permanently staffed reception.
- The number of guards: one guard is scheduled faster than a team for a festival.
- Special requirements: such as first aid and emergency response, an event security diploma or a language.
- The location: the closer to our permanent staff, the faster.
The intake
Every assignment starts with a short intake. We discuss the risks, the working hours and who the contact person on site is. When it is urgent we do this by phone, so the guard still starts with a proper briefing.
How to speed up the start
- List the key information: address, times and what needs to be secured.
- Name one contact person who can be reached.
- Arrange access to the building or site before the first shift.
Events
Events often need a permit from the municipality, with requirements for the number of guards.
